How do I prepare for my float? What should I bring?
Start by remembering why you are looking at floating in the first place – to relax in a calm, peaceful environment.
Prepare by relaxing, avoiding caffeine, and not shaving the day of your appointment, as any tiny nicks or cuts might sting for a short period of time.
Bring a bathing suit if you’re not ready to float nude. We provide towels, toiletries, and more.
Is the water changed between sessions?
No, but our water is meticulously filtered, sanitized, and monitored for a clean experience between each float session. The water cycles through a micron filter, which purifies it to the same quality as drinking water. It is infused with ozone and treated with UV Light and Hydrogen Peroxide.

Can I float if I'm claustrophobic? Can I leave early?
Of course! The beauty of floating is once you are in your float room and lock the door, you’re in control! Leave the lid open or cracked if you prefer, and you can get out at any time.
Can I float if I can't swim?
Absolutely! There is only 10 inches of water, so you can sit down. There are also over 1,000 pounds of Epsom Salt, which creates a near-weightless buoyancy, giving you no choice but to FLOAT!
What if I fall asleep?
Many do! The buoyancy keeps you safe and comfortable.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, you must be at least 16 years old. If you’re under 18, you will need a guardian’s presence and consent.
Can I float while pregnant or menstruating?
You can just take whatever precautions you would if you were to go swimming while menstruating.
We recommend consulting your doctor before floating while pregnant, and we prefer it if you are not in the first trimester of pregnancy. While there are no known issues with floating during the first trimester, since that is usually the riskiest time for the baby to develop, we do not want to be thought of as a reason for something going wrong. Women often report enjoying the pain relief of weightlessness and the soothing muscles in the Epsom Salt.

Can I float after dying my hair or getting a self-tan?
Wait 7-10 days after using hair dye, and check that the water running through your hair in the shower at home is coming out fully clear. If some color is still coming out, waiting a few more days or showers is best. You should also wait to float if you have recently (in the past 48 hours) had a spray tan or used self-tanner.

Do I need an appointment? Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, we book by appointment only.
While we understand that sometimes ‘life happens,’ we also ask you to understand when somebody no-shows or cancels at the last minute, we lose our income. This can be detrimental to a small business. If there is a problem, please call as soon as possible to come up with an amicable resolution. We want you to float, but you are responsible for your own planning and we will take your float credit for a last-minute cancellation.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy
**ALL SALES ARE FINAL** Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment time will result in a stored credit being replenished. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment and no-shows will result in the full charge with no refund or the usage of a stored session. **WE ARE A SMALL BUSINESS. PLEASE RESPECT ALL SMALL BUSINESSES. Keeping an appointment blocked for any period of time, then canceling last minute, is your responsibility and no refund will be given. Flat tire, babysitter issues, dog ate your homework; there will be no refund for cancellations made within 24hrs**
